Here's some answers to some questions that you might have about how things work..

How much is postage?

Postage starts from just £2.80 for the UK - if you need your order asap (like next day) please upgrade in the checkout using our fast process option which is £7.99 - we do post worldwide, to see prices please add your items to the basket and select the country and it will let you know how much it will be before you complete the checkout procedure.

What payment methods can be used to purchase from sewandsoaps & is it safe?

We accept all major cards, Visa, MasterCard etc or Paypal when purchasing online. 

We use the latest secure, encryption services to ensure, as far as practicable, that your shopping with us is as safe as can be. Our server security is constantly monitored and updated to remain compliant to PCI-DSS requirements.

Sewandsoaps do not see or retain any credit card details when you use our online facility. This information is passed between yourself and our merchant bank in encrypted form after which we receive confirmation that the payment is ok from them. This all conducted in seconds after which we receive the order to start processing.

"When will my order be received"?

Usually your Personalised gifts will be with you within 3-7 days in the UK, often sooner.  It depends on how busy we are and it may take a little longer if you ordered a personalised bear and requested a draft/design preview.

Postage time will also depend on what you ordered. If your order is urgent, just mention it in the instructions area as you checkout, and we'll do our best to prioritise it.   We often get last minute orders if you let us know we can get it on it's way sooner.

As with most gift companies christmas is one of our busiest times so please allow extra time for your order to be made.

Drafts are only sent out on bespoke orders or if requested...

Please check your junk/spam.  If you have a hotmail or a live email address you may find that your email draft is in your junk folder, If your draft hasn't arrived within 48 hours (not including weekends), let us know and we'll resend it for you. {please allow extra time at christmas/pre ordered bears}

**Please note** All parcels returned to us (from either not being collected, incorrect delivery address or any other valid reason) can be re-sent to you. But this will require an additional payment to cover the cost of second-time delivery, to avoid this we advise leaving a note of safe place for delivery should you not be home.

"Can i change my order?"

Should you need to change anything, email us immediately using the confirmation that you were sent via email.  If you haven't got it, please check your junk folder, providing we haven't started, changes can be made easily.  

Please remember – CHECK, DOUBLE CHECK and TRIPLE CHECK – the details/font styles etc ... once you have approved a design via email/messenger this will be the design used so please ensure you are 100% happy.

*Please note* From time to time error's do occur, we try our best to prevent these by sending out design previews before we get started .... After design's have been approved via email or messenger, any errors (wrong date/spellings/fonts etc) will become the buyers financial responsibility.

"Can I send to hospitals, PO Boxes, work places etc?"

We use couriers & royal mail to send our orders, so you can post to any address. be it home, business, hospital, PO Box etc

With delivery to hospitals, please allow a little extra time for the hospital to process the parcel internally.

Allow for the fact the PO don't deliver on weekends. Call us if you would like to check if the your order will arrive we are keen to get there in time too.

"Can you post overseas?"

Absolutely, we send our teddy bears all over the world. Please allow for around 2 weeks from ordering for delivery to most places, like Europe and USA.

Places like South America, Africa and some more remote Asian countries can take up to a month.

"How do payment details get transmitted through the website?"

Payment details are transmitted through paypal or create pay that specialises in secure payment transactions. They use the latest technology available to ensure, as far as practicable, that your information is safe from fraudulent activity. They also do not provide credit card details to us, or store your data.

"Who can I contact if I am having problems using the site?"

If you have difficulty using or viewing this site, please contact us as we'd like to help. We are most interested in what browser and computer you are using and also the nature of the problem.
